What Do You Find?

The gospel reading from Luke 5:1-11 tells the story of how Jesus told the disciples to cast there nets into the deep and the disciples after a catchless night was suddenly overwhelmed by the large number of fishes caught.

What do we find when we cast down our nets into the deep? We will find our sins, but not only sins, we will also find love because when there are sins loves also abounds. The love of the Lord means grace overpowering sins. Gods love is irrevocable, it does not change with feelings and emotions. He will always love us, even in the midst of our seemingly catchless night.
