Last month we had summer training for top leaders of
YFC*. We had one brother who booked off his work, rode a bus for 6 hours with
money from his own pocket just to attend a 5-day stay-in training. We had seen
this played countless times in different situations. On the other hand we have
leaders also who are just near, don’t even need to book off their work and yet
always giving us excuses that they are busy. One excuse after another just so
not to attend but if they only see the value of it they will regret the
opportunity wasted. If we are really interested we will find a way. There is no
such thing as busy for someone who has passion for something.
Lord, may we have passion enough not make excuses in
attending your activities. Amen.
