Ezekiel 34:13-14
In the book of the Prophet Ezekiel,
the Lord said, “I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the
countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the
mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the
land. I will feed
them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain
heights of Israel. There they will lie down on good grazing ground and feed in rich
pasture on the mountains of Israel.”
Those who are weary, hungry, lonely, sad, outcast and
burdened will find joy and peace in God. He is leading them to real joy and
peace. There they will no longer be weary, they will have acceptance, they will
find real friends, and they will no longer be hungry nor lonely.
A promise so beautiful to hold on to, knowing that He can be
trusted. It is also actually paints a glimpse of heaven. A place of good
pasture, lands were good memories abound and a secured dwelling place.
