Since when did
capability became the foremost requirement in choosing a leader in ‘Christian”
communal life? Isn’t it the heart and its posture? A heart attuned with God and
a posture of humility and keen understanding of humanity, that despite human
frailties he continue to stand up again and again if only to prove that the
desire for holiness is greater than the desire to quit. A man maybe capable but
without a heart and a proper posture, it is nothing. It is even dangerous to
some extent.
