The drive for excellence
should not be at the expense of kindness. There is a bigger need in the world
today and that is kindness. Hatred, anger, anguish and yes hopelessness abounds
today; let us show genuine concern. A little consideration towards others can
go a long way.
What is excellence if in
the end it dehumanizes the person?
If we are to insist on
excellence then let it be excellence in being kind.
