The Lords response to
our sinfulness is generosity. He lavishes us instead of condemning until we are
overwhelmed with the truth what we are extremely loved. We could not help but
change for good because the love received was too strong to ignore.
Generosity makes us say
sorry.
We ask, “Why are you lavishing me when I am doing this and that?” But the Lord responds, “I love you
for who you are not what you are doing.”
