I’ve heard some saying that as Christians we need to
be fully aware of the world. We cannot be forever in a cocoon protected from
realities of life that when it breaks we find it hard to survive. This has to
be truer with missionaries. Missionaries cannot be naïve to what is happening
in the world. We need to understand its ways and dealings if we are to proclaim
His love effectively.
Missionaries are not naïve. We understand and we are
fully aware what is happening around us that is precisely why we choose what is
true, good and beautiful because we see it and experienced it and we came into
a conclusion that there has to be something more than what it offers.
Our awareness of the world should compel us to speak
the truth, choose the good and see the beautiful.
