What is our reason for
service? Who is our reason for service? Jesus, we answer right away. However
our actions and actuations speaks something else. It is therefore necessary
examine ourselves if we are to grow. Communal life is important in achieving
this, because we have blind spots. The challenge though is not that we don’t
know our blind spots because most of the time we do. Our challenge is to acknowledge it, if we are to grow.
The posture of our heart
is very important, because if it is not directed towards Jesus, it is selfish
even if it is service.
