Can you say with conviction to your members, follow
me? Is your life worth following? Is it worth emulating? These questions are
good gauge of leadership. Saint Paul can say with conviction in 1 Corinthians
11:1, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ,“
because he tried his very best to live out Christ in his own life. He was not
just convicted to proclaim Christ to others he was in fact passionate about
living out Christ in his life for others. He was not without weaknesses of
course, but he goes beyond his weaknesses and shared his life anyway. By his
life others saw hope. Saint Paul became a good example to others. In a world
full of sufferings, we need good living examples too right now.
Grant us the grace O Lord, to be a good
example to others. Amen.
