Our Christian Faith

Haven’t we heard many times from some Christians, “I am a Christian but premarital sex and cohabitation is okay. That is love you know!” We cannot say, “I am a Christian because I believe in love but I don’t believe in the church stand on marriage.” That is not Christian faith; that is Your Faith. If we are Christians, we believe in “everything” it teaches and not just “what we think“ we can believe in.

Our Christian faith is wholesale not retail! We cannot pick and choose what we like, it’s either we take it or leave it. We either believe in it as whole or nothing at all.

Jesus teaching can be hard to swallow at times, but that is what it is.

Explore. Dream. Discover.

bermuda

Mark Twain said, "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

Very true indeed! We follow the path that Christ wants us to have. In that road we can explore, dream and discover. What path am I taking? Who am I listening to? Is it just my mind, my heart or my whole being with God?

Explore the unknown, dream dreams and discover the things you haven’t seen and experience adventure you haven’t experienced. Then you will discover there is more to this life than what you have imagined. Life is waiting, don’t just exist!

God of Simplicity

God is a God of simplicity. No wonder people of uncomplicated reasoning have some of the most joyful life. This has never been more evident than in mission. Sometimes we are caught up with too much manual and structure and it sucks out joy, passion and creativity from someone.

Complicated people are overzealous on manuals and structures, unreasonably unbending and totally paranoid when things go off track from the set guidelines.

Let us trust God, more than the manuals and structures. Mission at its rawest is Jesus. A very simple and uncomplicated message.
