He Will See Us Through

There are times in life when we are confronted with difficulties, and decisions are needed to be done. We are at the fork of the road and we don’t know which way to take. Remember this, God brought us here, He will see us through.

Through Time

There is a beautiful way of testing one’s good intention, TIME.

Usually we believe the message because we believe in the person delivering it. However sometimes, we don’t fully trust the person because of bad reputation, or of some gossips and or of some preconceived notions.

Good intention is validated through time and its consistency will tell its sincerity.

Good Foundation

Having a good foundation can make a lot of difference in life. Jesus have some words to say on this. “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” Matthew 7:24-27

If we are grounded on wealth, fame, opinions and emotions we are like a house build on sands, when rain and flood come, it will fall.

If wealth is our foundation, Jesus have some wise warning. “And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’ “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:16-21

If fame is our foundation, what a stressful life would it be. There will always be people more famous than you and there will be people more beautiful than you.

If opinions are our foundation, it will be a confused and misguided life because there will always be a lot of opinions.

If emotions are our foundation, it will be a crazy life because our emotions can fluctuate. It will be unimaginable for someone to live only for certain feelings.

What is your foundation? I Corinthians 3:11 gives us a good advice, let Jesus be our foundation. “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” We can only stand on a firm foundation who is Jesus Christ.

In Him, we are the apple of His eyes (Psalm 17:8) and a treasure unto Him (Exodus 19:5), no amount of worlds fame can encompass that assurance.

In Him, whatever opinions others may have, we will always be His son and daughter and nothings can change that. For Him, whatever others will say, we are made in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:27) and therefore we are assured of our identity.

In Him, whether we are happy or not, down or up, emotionally stable or not, His love is constant. We are loved as who we are. Lord, your constant love reaches the heavens; your faithfulness extends to the skies. Your righteousness is towering like the mountains; your justice is like the depths of the sea. People and animals are in your care. How precious, O God, is your constant love! We find protection under the shadow of your wings.” Psalm 36:5-7
