Service without transformation is incomplete.
Real service should transform us because service is selfless and therefore transformative.
When we serve we start looking, caring and loving others instead of looking,
caring and loving just ourselves.
When we serve, we will start noticing
our own undesirable personality because we will be pushed to the limits. Once
noticed, it requires a response or else service will mean nothing to the person
serving. For service to be complete then, we must respond positively and change
for good. I think this completes the cycle of service; the one served was
blessed while the one serving was changed in return, therefore blessed too.
