Count Your Blessings

The temptation to think and look at the negative things seems to be more appealing to a man than all the good things happening in him. Fyodor Dostoevsky said it right, “Man only likes to count his troubles; he doesn't calculate his happiness.”

There is so much to be happy about, so I suggest, count your blessings. Troubles may not go away but so are blessings.

You don’t have shoes, praise God you have feet to walk.
You don’t have your own house, praise God you have a place for your head to rest.
You don’t have fancy clothes, praise God you still have one to protect your body.
You don’t have body wash, praise God you still have soap to shower.
You don’t have cellphone to text, praise God you still have a hand to write.
You don’t have a cellphone to call, praise God you still have a voice to talk.
You don’t have music players and earphones, praise God you still have ear to hear.
You don’t have car, praise God you still have transit bus to ride.

There are countless more to praise God. Start praising Him today!
