Silence Not Words

Love is beyond the language of men; vocabulary is insufficient to define it. That is why when we are struck by it, we are reduced to utter silence.  Kaya kapag kaharap mo ang minamahal mo, nawawalan ka ng salita. Sapagkat hindi kaya ng salita na ipaliwanag ang iyong nakita. (That is why when you are in front of someone you love you lost for words, because words find itself inadequate to describe what you see.)

It seems that love is better understood in silence. There appears to be a more perfect definition of love in silence. There, your heart understands, what your eyes see but your lips fails to express. We have an example of this in the scene of Crucifixion, Jesus suffering yet intently looking at His mother. Imagine the gaze of both eyes. They both know fully well what it means, and yet silence not words abounds.
